nginx by default logs when requests are made, but i've turned this off.
many websites out there use peoples information to show ads, for marketing purposes and other purposes which i do not agree with.
this website is a plaintext site which is hosted using nginx. i don't track you and i have no reason to, this website exists just because why not
i can't, and no other website on the internet can really say they care about your privacy these days.
i could theoretically start putting ads on this website and logging ips of people, and nothing could be done about it
this is the main issue with many giant sites these days
a lot of websites dont care about you or your privacy, or really anything you stand for
and that really stinks
essentially, this privacy text or whatever is here because i think people should be more aware of this kinda stuff
but yeah, i don't track you or something
